Garden asparagus Mary Washington
Plants are perennial. They can grow for 20 and more years in one place. Plants overwinter well at temperatures as low as -30° C. Shoots of 1–1.5 cm in diameter that grow within 3–4 years are used. Seeds have to be soaked up before sowing.
